I spent a wonderful Sunday afternoon at the National Museum of Denmark with my new friends from http://www.meetup.com/photo-cph.
I´m have to be honest I´m not a museum person! But I liked wandering around looking at different artifacts, pictures and paintings with photographs in mind (my rebellious streak enjoyed not reading any info given on anything). I found a fellow photographer with a similar mind, and we walked through the museum, mostly together but often with one going ahead and/or one lagging behind, conversation flowing nicely throughout. We had time before meeting the group again to look at the gift shop, ogle modern-day (hot) Vikings and chat some more.
I was armed with my big SLR camera but I felt like using my iPhone as the pictures become artier (is that even a word?). The light wasn’t great anyway, and so many artifacts behind glass, so using my phone gave me a more freedom to snap away and not care so much about the results and have fun.
I took the pictures using a (bashed up) iPhone 4, the Hipstamatic app, the Blank film and the Loftus lens.
